1970 MonteCarlo Low Rider
I'll start with the paint. This picture doesn't do this car justice. This was my first attempt at nail polish. This is three bottles metalflake turquoise with 4 coats of clear wet sanded between coats. It looked SO cool that it started me on a lowrider building frenzy. I opened up the trunk and used the kit supplied batteries & pumps. I used Hopping Hydros Gold Daytons & whitewalls because the kits wheels & tires weren't quite the right size for this car. The 454 was installed right out of the box with a lot of detail painting. The rest of the car is box stock. Very nice kit and easy to build.
